Chain a number of stitches divisible by thirteen, plus eleven stitches. (example, 76 stitches = medium snuggle)
Row 1: Dc in 4th chain from hook, dc in each of next 7 sts, *skip 2 sts, [3 dc in next st, ch 2, 3 dc in same st (shell made)], skip 2, dc in next 8 stitches, repeat from * across row, end ch 3, turn.
Row 2: Dc in each of next 7 dc, *in the next ch2 loop work a shell, dc in next 8 sts, repeat from * across row, end ch 3, turn.
Repeat Row 2 until desired length. Finish off.
Hint for best results in finishing is to leave ends long and weave the ends through the work using a tapestry needle.
